Dr. Lanis is an accomplished oral and maxillofacial implantologist with extensive experience in advanced prosthodontics, oral implantology, and digital dentistry. He currently serves as the Program Director of Advanced Implant Dentistry and Assistant Professor in Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he provides exceptional mentorship to graduate students in these fields.

Dr. Lanis obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Valparaiso, Chile in 2008, and completed a three-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology at the University of Chile in Santiago. He also holds an advanced diploma in Marketing and Health Administration from University of Chile School of Business, and an advanced certification in Medical Education from Catholic University of Chile School of Medicine.
Dr. Lanis has been actively involved in the development of several advanced training programs in implant dentistry, including the ITI Scholar program at the University of Michigan. He is a renowned international lecturer in digital dentistry, oral implantology, and prosthodontics, and a fellow of the International Team for Implantology, where he serves on the Global Education Committee. He is also a member of the European Association for Osseointegration, the International College of Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lanis has published numerous scientific articles in specialized journals and books and has collaborated as a scientific advisor with various dental implant companies worldwide.
