Please be advised that all cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the course:
In the event of a cancellation made more than 60 days prior to the course, a refund will be issued for the course fees, excluding the non-refundable deposit of $500. However, the non-refundable deposit can be applied as a credit towards the registration for a future course. This credit will remain valid for a period of one year from the date of the canceled course.
Cancellations made within 60 days of the course:
Kindly note that no refunds can be granted for cancellations made within 60 days of the course commencement. In such instances, a late non-refundable cancellation fee of $500 will be charged. In the event of a late cancellation for a live patient at the university, a non-refundable fee of $1,500 will be applied.
The remaining balance, which is calculated by deducting the aforementioned cancellation fee from the total course fees, may be applied as a credit towards a future course within a period of one year.
The M.I.A.M.I. reserves the right to cancel or modify a course without prior notice. Any modifications to the course programs may result in an adjustment of the rates.
The M.I.A.M.I. maintains the right to refuse registrations and holds the prerogative to cancel and/or modify the conference without prior notice. Please note that all travel expenses incurred by course attendees are solely their responsibility. The M.I.A.M.I. assumes no liability for the reimbursement of any prepaid, non-modifiable, or non-refundable travel costs. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that attendees wait until 45 days before the course to confirm their travel arrangements or, alternatively, book refundable trips to allow for flexibility in the event of date changes, modifications, or cancellations.
